Hyderabad Minor Girl Sexually Assaulted: Two people have been arrested for sexually assaulting a minor girl in Hyderabad. Police said that a case has been registered under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act. Let us tell you that this came just a few days after a 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped while returning home after a party in Jubilee Hills area of Hyderabad on May 28. Another case has come to the fore.
In the latest incident, the minor girl went missing on May 31 and later her family members approached the police. Based on his complaint, a case was registered under Section 363 of the Indian Penal Code. Later, the police team found the girl while patrolling. The accused have been identified as cab drivers Sheikh Kalim Ali alias Kaleem and Mohammad Lukman Ahmed Yazdani alias Lukman.
The lure of leaving the house in the cab
The police inspector of Mughalpura police station told news agency ANI that during the investigation, the police patrol traced the girl on June 1 at around 5 am. He was later taken to Bharosa Center to record his statement. The minor said in her statement that she was going to her parents’ house, Pahari Sharif. According to the police, the minor said that the accused cab driver Sheikh Kalim Ali noticed that she was alone and asked her if she wanted to go somewhere. The minor girl replied that she wants to go to Shaheen Nagar. But he doesn’t have money. Kalim lured the minor girl to drop him at her house and took her in his car.

On the way around 10 o’clock, he put the second accused Mohammad Luqman Ahmed Yazdani alias Lukman in the car. They both took her to the house of accused Lukman in Kondurag village, where Kaleem and Lukman forcibly sexually assaulted the minor. The police further told that Kaleem later dropped the minor girl in his cab at Sultanshahi at around 5 am. Based on the statement of the minor at Bharosa Centre, the police changed the IPC sections in the already registered case. Both the accused have been arrested.
