Shops Of Displaced Kashmiri Pandits Will Get Free Electricity Connection Delhi Government’s Decision ANN


New Delhi, The Delhi government is now soon going to provide free electricity connections to the shops of displaced Kashmiri Pandits in Delhi. Free electricity connections will be provided by the Delhi government to the shops of displaced Kashmiri Pandits located at INA Market.

Sisodia held a meeting with high officials
In this regard, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia held a meeting with the high officials of all concerned departments including BSES and PWD on Tuesday. He directed the officials to immediately inspect the selected place for installation of power transformers in the market and install electricity connections in all the shops of Kashmiri Pandits within a month. Deputy Chairman of Delhi Jal Board and MLA of Greater Kailash Saurabh Bhardwaj also attended the meeting.

Kashmiri Pandits met Kejriwal
In fact, recently, a delegation of Kashmiri Pandits met Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and shared the problem of electricity connection and told that there are more than 100 shops of Kashmiri Pandits in INA Market. Which had to be shifted from year to year due to various construction activities. At present, the shopkeepers have to face problems due to no permanent solution of electricity in these shops. Taking cognizance of this matter, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal immediately gave instructions to take action on it.

,We did not do politics on Kashmiri Pandits,
On this, Manish Sisodia said that instead of doing politics on Kashmiri Pandits, we have always worked for their progress and upliftment. He told that taking immediate cognizance of this problem of Kashmiri Pandits, the Delhi Government has started work to establish electricity connection in their shops located at INA and within 1 month the work of setting up electricity connection here will be completed. No charge or fee will be charged from the shopkeepers and the entire expenditure will be borne by the Delhi Government.
