The first flight left from Kerala on Saturday morning
Earlier, the first flight for Haj from Kerala left for Saudi Arabia from Kochi airport on Saturday morning. A total of 377 Haj pilgrims flew in Saudi Arabian Airlines’ SV 5747 aircraft. It was flagged off by Kerala’s Waqf and Haj Minister V. Abdur Rahman. So the first flight will take off from Delhi tonight. The last batch of pilgrims for Haj will take off from Mumbai on July 3.
After Indonesia, most people from India will perform Haj
A few days ago, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi had told that this year after Indonesia, the maximum number of people from India will go to Hajj. Arrangements have been made for vaccination and RT-PCR test at all centres. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi had also told that this time 10 climbing centers have been set up in the country. From where Hajj pilgrims can go for Hajj. These include Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Srinagar, Kochi, Hyderabad and Bangalore. More than 90,000 applications have been received for Haj this year.
