Mohalla Clinic: The Delhi government is going to start 100 new Mohalla Clinics in Delhi in the coming days. The construction work of these Mohalla clinics is going on in its final stages. In this connection, on Monday, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia held a meeting with the high officials of the Health Department and PWD and directed the officials to start these clinics at the earliest, so that the general public can take advantage of it.
Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said that every Delhiites should have easy access to health facilities at the primary level, so we are going to start 100 new Mohalla Clinics soon. The construction work of these clinics is going on in its final stages and soon they will be fully available to the general public.
Mohalla clinics fully digitized
Along with this, the work of digitizing all Mohalla Clinics in Delhi is also going on fast and many Mohalla Clinics have been fully digitized, where information related to patients and their disease is deposited through tablets. In this regard, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said that Mohalla Clinic is the first point to detect any disease. The data coming from here after they are digitized will be used to diagnose any disease before it develops at any place in Delhi. Along with this, the doctor will get to know all the medical history of the patients through a single click. With the help of this, doctors will be able to give better treatment to the patient. These data will also play an important role in the formulation of health related policies.
212 types of tests and all basic medicines available
At present there are 519 Mohalla Clinics in Delhi. Where people are given all types of primary health care services free of cost along with 212 types of tests and all basic medicines, which includes 125 types of medicines. According to government figures, more than 60 thousand people get their treatment done every day in these Mohalla clinics.
