Kanpur Violence: In the Kanpur Violence case, the police have arrested 54 accused so far. In this whole case, the police has also arrested a local BJP leader. At the same time, preparations have started for running bulldozers in the city. Bulldozers are about to run on the new road in Kanpur and the illegally constructed buildings in the surrounding areas.
According to the information, the Police Commissioner has sent a list of more than 100 buildings to the KDA VC. Along with the map of these buildings, information about whether legal or illegal has also been sought. The district administration has also asked the KDA to investigate and submit the report at the earliest. After the verification of the list, the administration and the police will start a swift action against the illegal buildings.
54 arrested in the case so far
Let us tell you, as the investigation of the Kanpur violence case is progressing, the faces of the miscreants involved in it are getting exposed. Kanpur Police has arrested 54 accused so far. A senior police official said that a local BJP leader and 12 others have been arrested by the police here in connection with the Kanpur violence. Harshit Srivastava, former district secretary of BJP Yuva Morcha, has been arrested for posting inflammatory content on social media platforms.
Kanpur Police has also identified five members of PFI, out of which three have been arrested. Kanpur Police Commissioner Vijaysinh Meena said that three members of PFI have been arrested on the basis of links found with the accused arrested in Kanpur violence. Police is interrogating many more suspects by taking them into custody.
