Jammu and Kashmir News: The Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has come forward to help a Divyang in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. The Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has approached a differently-abled child named Parvez, who went to school on one leg, to fulfill his dreams. Along with this, the ministry has assured to provide ‘prosthetic support including corrective surgery’ to the disabled child.
According to the information, Parvez, a disabled child living in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, is a student of class 9 in Government High School, Nowgam. Who lost his left leg at a very young age. But he never let himself get weak and he is continuing his studies. At present, after raising the issue on behalf of the news agency ANI, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Pratima Bhowmik, took cognizance of it and a team of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has contacted the child.

Pratima Bhowmik informed in a tweet on Sunday that a team of some experts from the ministry reached the house of the handicapped child and took stock of his condition. After that she will take necessary steps for his further treatment.

Divyang demanded artificial limb
Earlier, while talking to ANI, on Friday, a 14-year-old Divyang child told that he goes to school to study after covering a distance of about two kilometers daily with the help of one leg. He says that he is facing difficulties due to poor roads in his area. The child says that if he gets a prosthesis then he can walk. Which can make his life easier.
