Monsoon Forecast: The capital Delhi has been facing severe heat since last week. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), at present, scorching heat is expected to persist in the northern states of the country including Delhi. RK Jenamani, senior scientist of the Meteorological Department, says that there is still a heat wave in many areas of Delhi. Delhi will remain cloudy on June 11, but the maximum temperature will remain up to 41 degree Celsius. On the other hand, rain may occur in some parts of the country on June 11. Because of this, the temperature is expected to drop by a few degrees Celsius. But the temperature is expected to rise again from June 12. No rain is visible in Delhi till June 15. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of monsoon knocking in Maharashtra on June 11.
The forecast of when the monsoon will come to Delhi has not been given at the moment.
Where are the chances of monsoon?
Monsoon may be a little active from June 16, but its effect is not visible in the northern areas of the country. There are signs of monsoon coming in the next 2 days in Mumbai, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra.
According to scientist Genamani, “At present only the condition of Mumbai, Ratnagiri in Maharashtra has been given where the monsoon will come in the next 2 days. The effect of monsoon will also be seen in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Bay of Bengal.”
Rainfall has reduced in Delhi NCR in the last days, as a result the weather is dry. Due to which the outbreak of heatwave is being seen continuously. The people of Delhi had got relief from the recent rains and strong storm, but this relief was only for a moment.
Red Alert in North East India:
Heavy rain is expected in Meghalaya and Assam. For which a RED warning has been given. There will be a flood-like situation in Assam because according to the map, it is still covered with dense clouds.
Yellow warning continues in North India:
Not much change is expected in the temperature of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh. That is, at the moment there is no relief from the heat.
The Meteorological Department has asked people in Delhi not to come out of their homes. The temperature can reach up to 45 degrees in many areas, in such a situation, the Meteorological Department has given information through a yellow alert and said that the minimum temperature is also expected to be 30 degrees Celsius during this period.
Yellow alert in southern India also:
Yellow warning has also been given in Telangana, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh regarding heat wave.
