Cop Arrested Taking Bribe: A sub-inspector of Delhi Police, who was demanding a bribe of Rs 15,000 from the father for not arresting the son, has been arrested red handed by the Central Bureau of Investigation. The arrested Sub Inspector has been named as Mayank Yadav, who was posted in Kishangarh Police Station.
According to the CBI, the complainant also complained to the Anti-Corruption Branch of the CBI that a case was registered against his son at the Kishangarh police station. The investigating officer of this case was Sub Inspector Mayank Yadav. It is alleged that the sub-inspector demanded 15,000 from the boy’s father for not arresting the boy. It is also alleged that the complainant was also threatened that if he did not pay the bribe amount, then his son would be arrested and he would also be tortured.
Case registered against sub-inspector under criminal sections
Based on the complaint, the CBI conducted a preliminary inquiry into the matter. During this investigation, a case was registered against the sub-inspector under various criminal sections after the demand for bribe was found to be true. After this, the CBI laid a trap and arrested Sub Inspector Mayank Yadav, who was taking a bribe of Rs 15000, red handed.

It is being told that Mayank Yadav was recruited as a sub-inspector in Delhi Police a few years back. After the raid, the CBI raided the premises of the accused. During this, many objectionable documents have been claimed to have been found. The accused sub-inspector will be produced before the special CBI court, the investigation of the case is going on.
