Delhi Congress Requests Rahul Gandhi To Become Party Chief Resolution Passed


Resolution to Make Rahul Gandhi Party President: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Anil Kumar said that the State Congress on Sunday unanimously passed a resolution requesting Rahul Gandhi to take over as the party president. Kumar said that this resolution was passed in the two-day ‘Nav Sankalp Shivir’.

The resolution said that only a leader like Rahul Gandhi can “strengthen” and “rejuvenate” the Congress at such a time, which is being called a “challenging time” for the party. “Congress candidate for Rajinder Nagar bypoll Prem Lata also participated in the Nav Sankalp Shivir, and it was resolved that Congress workers from the grassroots level to the top leadership will go to the local people to ensure their victory,” Kumar said. And will expose the corruption of BJP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

He said that it is gratifying to see that many senior leaders have volunteered to manage booth tables and garner people’s support for the Congress candidate. Besides Kumar, Delhi Congress in-charge Shaktisinh Gohil, former MPs Ramesh Kumar and Udit Raj, former Delhi ministers Haroon Yusuf, Dr Kiran Walia and Narendra Nath attended the event.
