CBI Arrests MCD Engineer: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a junior engineer of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) for accepting a bribe of only Rs 7000 along with his Beldar. After the arrest, raids have been conducted at both the places. According to CBI spokesperson RC Joshi, the arrested junior engineer is posted in Preet Vihar area of ​​Delhi Municipal Corporation and his name is Neeraj Kumar. Apart from this, Beldar Sukhdev has also been arrested with him in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.

The CBI had received a complaint in this case that the complainant was getting some items to be demolished in front of his shop. It is alleged that instead of keeping the goods on the road, Beldar first approached him and asked him to remove the goods from the road. It is also alleged that the complainant was told that if he wanted to keep the goods on the road, he would have to do some service water for it.

It is alleged that in this case, the conversation regarding bribe was to reach Junior Engineer Neeraj Kumar. On the basis of the complaint, the CBI investigated the case, on finding important facts during this investigation, a case was registered against the Junior Engineer of Delhi Municipal Corporation, Neeraj Kumar under criminal sections and after that the CBI took a bribe of only 7 thousand rupees by laying a trap. Arrested Beldar and Engineer. After the arrest, their places were raided, both will be produced before the special CBI court, the investigation of the case is going on.
