Centre Asks 5 States To Monitor Clusters Of COVID-19 Cases


Coronavirus Update: On Friday, after 84 days, more than 4 thousand cases of Coronavirus infection were reported across the country within 24 hours. In view of this, the government has become alert and along with the prevention of corona infection, instructions have been issued for its detection and vigilance.

Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written a letter to the officials of five states including Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana and Tamil Nadu regarding corona infection. In which instructions have been given to closely monitor the increasing cases of corona and the group of people getting infected and to check for corona infection in sufficient number.

In the letter of Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, it has been said that ‘many such states are being seen. Where cases of corona infection are being seen rapidly for some time. Such corona infections are indicating the possibility of local spread. In such a situation, while fighting the corona epidemic, work should be done for public health rapidly.

Get control of corona five times faster

Rajesh Bhushan has advised the states to spread their strategy five times faster. In which test-track-treat and vaccination of corona infected have been included. He says that monitoring of new corona infected cases should be done according to the guidelines and at the same time states should also increase the number of their corona tests.

Cases increasing since last week

Rajesh Bhushan says that there has been a steady decline in the number of coronavirus infections in India for the last 3 months. At the same time, there has been a slight increase in the cases of Coronavirus in the last one week. He says that 15,708 cases were reported in the week ending May 27, which has crossed 21,055 on June 3.
